Daisies
The daisies hadn’t opened when we were on the Common. It meant I got some lovely shots capturing the pink on the underside of the petals.

I’ts been a strange start to the year and I don’t really know where January went. Most of it seems to have just disappeared.
I’ve been getting out with my camera again over the last few days and capturing the snowdrops which signal the coming spring.
When I was downloading some recent shots from my camera I came across the following shots from a frosty morning in January.
I can’t believe we’re at the end of 2021. When I started this 365 project, to take a photo every day using only Lensbaby optics or lenses, it felt like it would take forever, but it’s finished!
During December I was using the Velvet lenses, these are definitely my favourites.

I was out early enough to capture the sunrise over the Old Hills.

It was great to be out with my camera and favourite Lensbaby lenses, the velvet series. I wasn’t under any time pressure so could just play.
I went for a wander on the Old Hills with my camera this afternoon. Most of yesterday’s snow was melting, the Hills were sodden and I got caught in a few showers but it was worth it. I found the first snowdrops, although they were barely coming out.
I bought myself some tulips just before Christmas and this morning they’d really opened up in the sunshine, providing some warm colours on a cold, frosty morning.
