I went for an early evening wander round the village. I started with a wander round the Abbey Trail, which takes me through the grounds of Stanbrook Abbey. The daffodils are passed their best but the tulips were bright and the magnolia trees are still in bloom. From there I went over and had a wander round the Old Hills.
It was a lovely warm evening and I hope I captured the best of it.
I took a walk in the Easter sunshine yesterday afternoon. The spring flowers were all at their best.
I had a wander round to Stanbrook Abbey to see the magnolia trees. They were looking fantastic.
These are my March Lensbaby 365 Project photos. They were all taken using a double glass optic.

It’s been over a week since I’d wandered round and I was interested to see what had changed. Most of the snowdrops and crocus have gone, there are still lots of primroses and the daffodils are fantastic.
I found a couple of magnolia tress which are in bud and will be amazing in a week or so.
I set off round the Abbey trail at Stanbrook Abbey this afternoon. I had my camera with me with my Lensbaby fisheye lens. Its a lovely walk round the grounds of the former nunnery, which is now a hotel.
There are lots of snowdrops and the other spring flowers are starting to come out, including primroses, crocus and daffodils. I was so busy playing I didn’t notice the cold.
