Autumn Sunshine
It was a beautiful fresh morning on Malvern Common. I was surprised to see the harebells still flowering and it seems to have been a bumper year for acorns.

After some heavy overnight rain, it was a grey drizzly morning on Malvern Common, but the harebells and grasses looked beautiful covered in raindrops.
It was a beautiful, hot, sunny morning on the Common. I took my Twist 60 and macro filters to play with. The harebells were looking amazing.
I had a great walk with dogs today. It was a glorious fresh clear sunny morning. It was bitterly cold, especially on top of the hills with no shelter from the wind. It was a great day for playing with my camera and my new Lensbaby Velvet 85 lens. I love it.
The sun had not long risen and was low in the sky, creating some great effects. I was surprised to find a harebell and gorse still in flower. The best shots from my walk are below.
We all have things which define the seasons for us, the scent of elderflower and the sight of harebells make me think of summer
Saturday morning on the common was a full one. It was very muggy, felt like rain and there were no signs that it was going to develop into a beautiful suny day. Suddenly a patch of colour caught my eye and when I took a closer look it was a beautiful bunch of harebells. When I got my camera out, it had the Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens on. I fired off a few shots and ran to catch up with the others.
I took a few other shots as we wandered round but when I was reviewing them over a cup of tea my favourites were the harebell shots. I had a play in Lightroom to create the black and white version and can’t make up my mind which I like best, what do you think? I’d love to hear from you.
