The sun wasn’t out this morning when Splat and I headed out on the Old Hills. It was a bit overcast but warm enough for the wild flowers to have opened. So often we take for granted the flowers we pass daily.
I am enjoying playing with the zone plate optic and seem to be getting better results than previously.
We were late this morning, having sat and watched the rugby. It was dull at first but the sun did come out as we wandered round.
I wanted to play with my plastic optic as I haven’t used the older lensbabies for a long time. I was quickly frustrated as I couldn’t focus close enough to the subjects I wanted to take and I hadn’t brought my macro kit. It was then a switch to my Velvet 56.
