I went for an early evening wander round the village. I started with a wander round the Abbey Trail, which takes me through the grounds of Stanbrook Abbey. The daffodils are passed their best but the tulips were bright and the magnolia trees are still in bloom. From there I went over and had a wander round the Old Hills.
It was a lovely warm evening and I hope I captured the best of it.
It was a surprise this morning to see how much snow had fallen overnight. The Common was beautiful this morning, basking in the spring sunshine with a covering of snow. It was melting so quickly and I’m sure we were out during the best part of the day.
I know its been cold this week buts that mainly been down to early morning frosts and cold northerly winds. It was a surprise this morning to see so much snow on the Malvern Hills and even on the common. It was amazing how much more snow there was as we headed up towards the top of the common.
I took a walk in the Easter sunshine yesterday afternoon. The spring flowers were all at their best.
I had a wander round to Stanbrook Abbey to see the magnolia trees. They were looking fantastic.
Splat has two gears, stop and full pelt. We are learning to make the most of the quiet times. It’s like the calm before the storm. During his quiet times he looks so angelic it’s easy to forget how naughty he can be. Fifteen weeks and he’s learned how to use those big brown eyes to maximum effect.
I took a wander round the garden with my Lensbaby creative bokeh optic and macro converters.
