Spring is here
It’s not just the flowers that are coming out. All around the trees are fantastic colours, where its blossom, flowers or leaves.

Today was playing with the new Soft Focus II optic
I was playing with the original soft focus optic, the macro element and the widest soft focus disk again today, while wandering round Malvern Common with the dogs.
I’m having so much fun with the combination of the original soft focus optic and the macro element from my wide angle converter. The spring flowers are so beautiful, especially close up.
I’ve been playing with the original Soft Focus optic and the macro element from my wide angle converter for the last week or so. Today I added the soft focus disk with the widest aperture, which creates a smaller aperture and more detail.
After playing with the new Lensbaby Soft Focus II optic I was keen to play with the original optic and the macro element from the wide angle teleconverter. It wasn’t as warm and sunny this morning so the flowers weren’t as open as they were yesterday. I had to look much harder to find them.
The soft focus was wide open (so f/2). I was surprised how easy it was to focus when I added the macro element. I am pleased with the results.
It’s amazing the effect of a few warm sunny days. The bluebells are starting to come out and the violets were amazing.
I was having more fun this morning with the Soft Focus II lens.
The spring flowers were beautiful in the sunshine.
It felt almost like summer this morning when I went out with the dog. I treated myself to a new Lensbaby Soft Focus II optic and was keen to have a play. I think I’m going to have lots of fun with this lens.
The daisies hadn’t opened when we were on the Common. It meant I got some lovely shots capturing the pink on the underside of the petals.
