It was one of those beautiful sunny winter days which was also freezing cold. A great day for capturing the spring flowers which are beginning to come out. Tyke can now go out , and all week I’ve been walking him round the block, past a fantastic array of snow drops and crocus, wishing I had time to go get my camera. Today I left Tyke at home and went out with my camera and Lensbaby Velvet 56.
Having had some fun there I went up the garden to the bunch of primroses which are growing in a shelter spot by the steps. My favourite shots from the day are below. I hope you enjoy them.

What gorgeous colours! I love the feeling of spring arriving in these ๐
Thanks, itโs not like that today!
Wow, amazing! Your photos are so clear and well composed!
Thanks
I was wondering, how much does your setup cost? I’m new to the photography market.
I use a Sony a99 camera and Lensbaby lenses. I’m not sure of the current prices of the camera. the lensbaby lenses can be found at http://www.lensbaby.com
Oh okay, I may check it out. I’ll be keeping an eye out on you blog for inspiration! Do you mainly photograph flowers?
I usually take my camera when I’m out with my dogs and just capture what interests me. It could be flowers, insects, the dogs or landscapes.
